The Center for Multimedia is devoted to experimentation,
research, study and diffusion of artistic and cultural practices
involving computing media.
Main goals of the Center for Multimedia: the production of meaning
from the relation between art and new media; the development of
experimentation dynamics generating new media and tools to be on
creators and cultural producers service; the detonation of studying
processes, creation and reflection being part of present-day discussions
on diverse knowledge areas regarding the new media; documents, recuperation
and divulgation of contemporary media creative practices; the inclusion
of the more relevant cultural-media projects in Mexico and abroad;
the creation of innovating mechanisms involving actively diverse
and heterogeneous spectators, besides contributing to foment a diversity
of interpretations about the art-technology relation, operating
as a meeting point for permanent discussion.

platform for projects in the area of netbased and digital art and
for the
exchange of independent information on contemporary art.
no-org.net is an independent project, run with no official support
or
commercial sponsors.
no-org.net conducts web exhibitions and art
projects , maintains open calendar of announces and calls for
local, global, and web based events of independent art. The site
is also housing an active archive of Hearat
Shulaym (Independent Journal for Contemporary Art)
and urban art events Heara.

LIMbØ busca promover la experimentación con nuevas
tecnologías dentro de las diferentes disciplinas artísticas
y abordar creativamente la problemática instaurada por la
relación entre tecnología y periferia. Para ello ha
creado un espacio de trabajo que ayude y contextualice los proyectos
de artistas argentinos que utilicen nuevos medios.
LIMbØ es un proyecto que cuenta con el apoyo de la Asociación
de Amigos del Museo de Arte Moderno de Buenos Aires y tiene su sede
en dicho museo.
Su dirección está a cargo de Gustavo Romano en el
área de artes visuales, Belén Gache en el área
de literatura experimental , Jorge Haro en el área de arte
sonoro, y la historiadora del arte Laura Buccellato como consultora
general.
LIMbØ ha realizado además convenios con otras instituciones
como el LIPM (Laboratorio de Investigación y Producción
Musical), Fundación Telefónica de Argentina, la Facultad
de Ingeniería de la Universidad de Buenos Aires y el CCR
- Estar 8 (Centro Cultural Recoleta).
